Really? Is that true? Well, can't you get insurance coverage in some instances if you go smaller?
I had a breast reduction 4 yrs ago and my insurance paid for all of it. I think the whole procedure and initial visits costs about 8K.
Recovery was a little painful for about a week, but it was definitely worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Now I don't have to spend over 30 bucks for a good bra.

Sorry if I was unclear. I am not sure if it is less to go smaller - I actually thought reduction was a bigger surgery and more expensive.

as i've posted many times before, I had a reduction.
I used Huntington hospital and all their facilities ----my insurance covered it because of medical issues as a result of a huge rack, but if my insurance hadn't covered, the bill was a little over $17,000. If the surgery hadn't gone smoothly, and I would have had to stay overnight, it would've been considerably more.
my point is that it's more $$$ to go smaller...BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!
