DH said the forbidden "F" word to me last night
We were at the store picking up the Crib we'd ordered and DH lookd at me & went "Wow, you really ARE starting to get a belly, huh?" I love pregnant bellies so I'm all happy that I'm really starting to show. Then he goes "Yeah, baby, you're getting Fat". That's right - he used the F word!!!!
I know he didn't mean it in a bad way because he quickly apologized when he saw the look on my face (lol) and tried to explain that he just meant I was getting a bigger belly. But I was still like "excuse you?" Sometimes men just say dumb things... mine especially

I feel your pain! my belly is just starting to show at 15w and DH says to me "OMG ur getting huge" -- what's he gonna think when I'm full term?

No they really dont get it! Sometimes my DH will look at me and make these faces and Im like WHAT!!?? and he'll be like Oh nothing! but if he could see the look on his face....sorta shock, amazement, disgust all rolled in one lol. I know its just cause hes surprised how big my belly is getting but come on really! practice your poker face!!

oh boy!
I told a good friend yesterday that I'm pregnant, and his response? "OMG! You're gonna get soooooooooooo fat and HUGE!"
His lack of filter is clearly obvious.

My dh never says the F word but boy oh boy if looks could talk Id hear it all the time. He loves to look at me since im closer to the end and say oh yeah baby is realy big baby is ready to come out  ...lol

They just don't get it! When I was about 10 weeks i put my bathingsuit on and asked my dh if i looked pregnant or fat and with 100% certainty he said FAT! thanks!

You know I have issues with the stupid things people say to pregnant women. But your DH didn't mean it the way it came out. Men are so clueless sometimes.

Oh that's nothing compared to what some OLD man said to me yesterday as I was walking into the dry cleaners...."oh wow, your fffffffaaaat..." and then preceeded to approach me with his palms out as if he wanted to feel my belly. It was sooo creepy!!!!!!
