Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
My first pregnancy i thought was great i could relax put my feet up, sleep all day do what ever i wanted. Now that i have a 19 month here i cant do any of that. How do you do it. I feel bad cuz he loves mommy sooo much he is constantly climbing and jumping on me and it scares me i try to be on my side. I feel like it is more so because i aware to it. I also find that he is going through an attitude faze is that normal. i mean im only 7 weeks can he possibly sense something already.

Well your little one probably knew before you did about your new angle It is completely normal they sence a change from day one he will grow past it during the mid point of your pg but it will return when you are closer to the end. I went through it with mine but I found that the attitude and change in character stem from the pg what I did that worked was spend more time with him going to play dates library events and even daycare 2 a week it helped him realize yes he loves mommy but he too can have his own friends and time. BTW its easier for them to adapt once baby is here they wont feel like your pushing them away or getting rid of them they will just flow in to the new change and let him know he will be a big brother soon and big brothers get to do cool big brother stuff good luck & best of wishes on your new pg

Re: Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
yeah, didnt realize those prego afternoons of taking a nap or watching a movie on the couch because I'm tired were such a luxury!
I try to keep up with her. But I cant sit on the floor and play for too long. So I do other things and leave that for daddy time.
I feel like I'm less tired this pregnancy.
Although once DD goes to sleep for the night, I usually pass out on the couch about 15 minutes later.

Re: Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
I was just thinking this last night...I am really early on but I remember that exhaustion with DD and I was able to come home and relax if I was tired but now it's work all day and come home and take care of the family so by the end of the night I am shot. I can only imagine how it's going to be further along!

Re: Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
I am 15 weeks pregnant, have an 8 month-old son, and work FT. On top of this, I have AWFUL insomnia. So I feel like I am walking around like a zombie most days.
It's hard because during the week, I come home exhausted but that it is my time with DS. I just do the best I can.
On the weekends, I try not to overextend myself and don't feel bad if I have to say "no". I also try to take a nap if I can when DH is home on the weekends.

Re: Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
DS is a very active 19 month old, he literally climbs all over my belly, jabs it, kicks it, you name it. I expressed my concern to my OB early on (I'm 24 weeks now) and he said not to even stress about it. As you know from the first, they are WELL protected and cushioned in there. So I just let DS climb as long as he's not truly hurting me (which he does too ).
As far as the exhaustion, it blows. DH and I talk all the time about how I'd just come home from work when I was pg with DS and either pass out early or at the very least just lay on the couch whenever and for however long I wanted. I didn't appreciate then how lucky we were to be pg w/o a little one already. DS doesn't care if I'm tired, if my sciatic nerve is killing me, if I'm nauseous, etc. I just do it, the best I can. Sure, DS watched alot more TV on those days, but he'll survive.

Re: Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
I'm pretty much walking around like a zombie. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and I'm having #3 on 11/3. I'm working full time, so I'm up at 5am commuting. DH has been working a lot of nights, so it's pretty much all me at home once I get home from work. But that's alright, I feel like this is nothing compared to what it will be like once #3 gets here!

Re: Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
It gets more and more exhausting. I remember when I was preggo with #2 and in labor - I had my mom on my phoen timing my contractions as I rode a pretend horse with my son all around the backyard - in labor and still no stopping. I am 19 weeks and still haven't told my little ones but they are non stop talking about babies and having a new baby in our house - they have to sense something is up. My youngest is 3 and constantly rubbing my belly too. They both jump and me, want to wrestle and have me throw them around and play runnggn and ball all day - I am exhausted more than ever this pregnancy!!!

DS is 21 months old and I'm exhausted. I don't remember being so tired when I was pregnant with him. I try to take a nap when he does during the day.

Re: Those pregnant with a 1 or 2 children already
My DC are 21 months and it is absolutely exhausting. I also haven't been able to sleep well and that is not helping at all.
