Need advice
My DD is 3 and I just had anoter baby. I was in the hospital for 4 days and came home yesterday. I had a cesction so I cant pick DD up if she wants which doesnt go over well. She doesnt seem jealous of the baby at all but the tantrums she has taken in the past 2 days are like I have never seen. Kicking, screaming.....this went on today for about 2 hours. Everything sets her off into a tantrum! She was doing great in school but yesterday and today her teachers said she has a very hard time. I also noticed she doesnt seem to be using her words as much.
Has anyone else gone through this and what did you do? I dont want to see her take a stepbackwards.

Typical children go through this phase too. Before and after the baby arrives.
It's a huge adjustment for them.

Some regressive behavior is typical during any adjustment. Give her lots of attention and hugs. Maybe you can create a time thats just for her (when you are up to it, of course). Hang in there!
