There's another Bouncer place in Lindenhurst (Right next to the Outback on North Wellwood Avenue)

lets bounce and party on wellwood ave in the outback shopping center (the owner of this place sold us our house) i believe its $10 per child for open play. not sure of the days they have open play either.

Depends on what you/DC likeChat Icon

Personally, we like the bounce places, we've only been to OUATT once and didn't LOVE it, but I know people do

I would say Once Upon A Tree Top for a toddler.

Re: Open Play Places

We just went here yesterday with our 14 month old & it (OUATT)was FREEZING in there and it's not even that cold out yet so dress your child accordingly. She was actually shivering. The floor was very drafty & of course everyone is in socks! I really miss Discovery Zone & Noodle Kidoodle! :(

That being said since there is really not much to do with a baby betwen 1 & 2 we will probably go back. It's nice that she can go and walk all over & touch everything. One thing I was not pleased with was that a lot of the baby toys (FP type musical tables, etc) were visibly dirty...like crusty stuff on them. Didn't like that at all. i know they can't possibly sanitize everything every night & I'm not a germophobe but-yuck!

Re: Open Play Places

We went to open play at Mommy and Me in Lake Grove yesterday. It was $5 per kid.
The kids had fun, but I'm not sure it was worth the $10 for them to play with a bunch of toys. I can take them to the library for free.

I found this, maybe it will help:
playonlongisland.com

I didn't check out Nassau County b/c I don't live there, but otherwise it seemed to be pretty helpful.

I also think the library is a good idea, except that we live in Kings Park, and that library is terrible.
