OK...are preggo progress pics obnoxious?
I don't think so because I do it, and love to look at everyone's. I post some progress on facebook (not every week, but more like every month or so) and i know a lot of friends/fam who i don't see really enjoy seeing the belly grow...but is it....dare I say, obnoxious? I feel great and even though I have days when I feel big, is it bad to say you're proud of how you look and feel? I'm just wondering. I say this because a friend of mine commented that posting the photos (she's preg, too) "isn't for her" and that's FINE, but it made me feel bad and over analyze!

i think it's fun to see other people's pics! i always comment on them because i love it!
it's funny though because i hate posting/taking progression pics of myself  . i took a pic of myself at 16 weeks and the only thing that was bigger were my boobs; my stomach was a little bigger to me, but people would still say it was flat. i took a pic of myself yesterday (22 weeks) and wanted to vomit .
but everyone else's pics i LOVE!!!!!!!!

I love it, too! Maybe it's a little like showing off, but honestly, we have a lot to be proud of. Everyone on here especially looks SOOO good! And I'm sure you look fantastic!

I don't think it's obnoxious. If people aren't into them, they don't have to click on them. As of right now, I only have 3 on FB and no bare belly shots (I have waaay too many work colleagues as friends to be showing my bare skin). Before I posted any, people were constantly writing on my wall and statuses that they wanted to see belly pics, so there are definitely friends of mine who want to see them.

nah, I don't think it's obnoxious. If you're specifically e-mailing people your pictures, then yes that can get annoying to those who don't really care to watch a belly grow. But posting them on here or FB - I don't see HOW that would be obnoxious. I do it too because I LOVE watching how much it grows and I have a lot of distant family who love to watch it too. I figure that anybody who does NOT want to see it can just not look. KWIM? It's not for everybody and that's ok. Some people get skeeved out by ultrasound pictures too (because they're pics of a person's uterus I guess, but to me all I see is the baby, so I think they're cool.) Everybody feels different about everything. Just do what makes YOU happy

Thanks! Yeah, no emailing for me. The only person I sent a photo to in an email is my mommy....because she tolerates me no matter what. heh heh. I don't do u/s photos only because I can't scan them in!

I don't think it's obnoxious at all. I love seeing them on here, I think it's so beautiful!! But for me personally, I don't post them on FB cause I find facebook to be stalker central and it's not my thing lol. But here I love it!

I wouldn't be so shy about it if all my FB friends were actually people I know personally. I've accepted way too many industry people and I'm too lazy to go through and block who can see what.

Its Definitely not obnoxious at all. It's one of the happiest times of your life so you should be proud. I love seeing progression pics!!!! I can't wait until I start to show more, though.

Before I got pregnant....I would kind of roll my eyes at people (usually on FB) who would post their positive pregnancy test, progression pics, sonograms....
Now that I'm pregnant, I haven't done it yet (haven't come out on FB)...but I now click on those pics to compare!
I think it depends on what stage you are in in your life.

I don't post mine on FB, only on here, but my best friend posts hers on FB. It's not like anyone is forcing anyone else to look at the pictures. People who have FB peeves are silly to me... no one is holding a gun to their heads making them look at certain things on FB. You should do whatever you're comfortable with and everyone else can suc.k it.

I think it's adorable to post preggo pics! Totally fun, especially for people you don't see very often.
