Reputable Boxer Breeder on LI?
I did search on here and saw this previously asked before asking again lol.. but none of those threads lead to answer.. Anyone know any?
I did research boxer rescue, but all are mixed breeds. Mostly all are boxaders on sites.

I would suggest looking on the akc website where they list the breeders for each breed. Keep in mind that there might be a better breeder outside of LI. Do lots of research! Meet the breeds is this weekend at the Javits center. It might be worth a visit to connect with some people at the boxer booth. Good luck!

Thanks.. wish I could go to javitz meet breeders.. just learned of today from someon posting thread, but I work sunday, DH works sat.. so cant go 
I was reading about AKC and they suggested not trusting them for the fact that it is easy to get papers from them. They dont do any testing and just pretty much take the word from the breeder if the dog is truley pure breed. Like if both parents have papers the offspring automatically get, so they can breed mother with any male dog (one that is not AKC papered) then say another dog (one with papers was the father.. which wasnt).. AKC doesnt DNA test to make sure in fact both the so called parents were the true ones to breed... if that makes sense what I wrote lol..

Exactly. Which is why I would use them for a basis to find some breeders and then research them from that point. Call people, check out breeder websites, etc. If people are breeding too frequently that is not somewhere you want to go. Many breeders will also not have the sire (father) on site. That is not to say that they all don't but to me, many times when the father is on site it is because no one else wanted to breed with their dam (mother) but they wanted to go ahead and breed her anyway. Don't be in a rush. A dog is a long commitment and you want to make sure you have the best health and temperament possible.

i got my boxer from Texas. He is such a great dog! There are pics in my album. my cousin ended up using the same breeder. Let me know if you are interested.
