1st B-day entertainment...help!!
If you had entertainment for your DC's first b-day or Christening...please share who you used and what they did.
Trying to plan DD's b-day mid December and have no idea what to do for entertainment.

We had this amazing guy play the guitar/sing. hes mellow, sand beatles, eagles etc...he was a huge hit, it was 400 for 4 hours. he plays every weekend on Sunday at Strathmore Bagel in Ronkonkoma, his name is Norman Vincent...

We used Nicole from Babies Boogie (she does the library music programs). She did a great job of entertaining the 14 babies!

To be quite honest...I have no idea what I meant!!!! I guess either...but clowns scare me!!!
I have been to a few 1st b-day parties...but they were all in the summer and outside...you really don't need much entertainment. But being stuck inside...i'm trying to figure out what to do with the little ones. I don't think there will be many kiddies...but still.

There are 2 ladies that put on a great show for that age group. They are called Musical Moppets.

Just went to a 1st Birthday party indoors this past weekend and she used a vendor from here - Legendary Entertainment (I used them for DS's Christening) and it was great!
She got a 2 hour package, they had a character, did a "meet and greet" and took pics, played parachute games, sang songs and did dances, had a few wooden games for the kids to play with, cotton candy, face painting and tattoos....I think every parent in the room loved her...the kids had a great time and the parents were able to relax!

We used her too after going to another party that she did. She was great and reasonable. I think I paid $125.

I used them for my DD 1st bday...I got the 1 hour package that included everything above minus the cotton candy. My DD was in LOVE with the character we got.

DS 1st BDay party was indoors in September. We didn't do "entertainment." We had about 20 kids under 12. Honestly, they mostly entertained themselves.
We had crayons and these coloring banner things and some other crafty things. And my cousin brought tatoos. The kids mostly just loved chasing each other around, making up their own games and taking short breaks to eat something.
I know you asked for ideas for entertainers, but just thought I'd share anyway so I hope it's ok.

We just had her for DS' 1st party last wkend. She was awesome.......so worth the $! I would call her more of an Entertainer than a clown. All the kids LOVED her...they all kept asking for her to come to their party!

I've been to 2 parties with Nicole and she was awesome. Unfortunately, she was booked the day of my DS's birthday.... We used Legendary Entertainment (a LIF Vendor) and they were AWESOME! We booked the 1 hr. character package. Cookie Monster was the highlight of the entire party! I highly recommend them!
