Would you cancel?
We were supposed to have our driveway ripped out and repaved end of September. They gave us a bunch of excuses as to why they were backed up. It's now beginning of November and the company has not started yet. They were supposed to start today and haven't showed up yet- I called and no one answered.
We haven't given them any money, and this is a BIG job . I'm also 6 days past my due date, so I'm starting to get really ******.
If they don't show up today I am going to cancel- do you think I am being unreasonable?

I would cancel too! If this entails pouring concrete you really shouldn't do it when it's old. It can crack and may not set right. Plus this is not something you need to stress you out during your last few days or pregnancy.

Cancel. That is just bad business. If they are doing this now prior to getting any money for a big job I can only imagine how many issues may ensue!

Thanks everyone, I called and cancelled  I left a message saying that I think we've been more than understanding but at this stage we have decided to cancel the job.
