outdoor photos - best spots for natural lighting?
We're going to have family photos taken this weekend.
Would anyone have any suggestions as to any spots out in Long Island (we're in western nassau) where there is good natural lighting?
Thanks for any advice!

The lighting itself is not about where, it's about when. The "golden" hour after sunrise and before sunset are best. I'm not sure of locations for you, sorry!

Planting Fields in Oyster Bay is great.
We did a family photo shot at Old Westbury Gardens that turned out really well.

I agree on the golden hour. I'd also stay away from noon - and away from trees. Dappled light is never good.
