Holiday Baking List
So, I decided today that I would make up a list of things that I plan on, or atleast would like to bake during the holidays. What's on your list? 
Here's mine so far:
(* denotes something I've never made before)
Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies (Tollhouse, and the recipe from Brown Eyed Baker - haven't tried that one yet)
Brownies (Bakes recipe)
Cinnamon Cupcakes w/ Maple Cream Cheese Frosting
Banana Bread
Hershey's Chocolate Cake
Cheesecake
Sugar Cookies
Cake Balls
Cookies & Cream Cupcakes *
Black & White Cupcakes *

for christmas
ricotta cheese cookies
chocolate chip cookies
raspberry thumbprint cookies
snickerdoodles
. . . . . I have to see what other cookie I am in the mood for this year.
chocolate covered oreos
chocolate covered pretzels
nonpareils
fudge
and some big layer cake, maybe red velvet, or coconut, maybe chocolate layer cake, I'l have to think about that too.

Haven't thought too much yet, but I will definitely be making shortbread with the electric cookie press I got for Christmas last year. I'm obsessed with that thing! It makes more cookies than I can find a place for in a matter of minutes!

For Christmas I practically bake a different batch of cookies every day for the whole month.
I make:
Chocolate chip
Chocolate chip with the holiday swirl chips
Rugelach
Cranberry pistachio biscotti
Walnut crescents
Cream cheese sugar cookies
White chocolate macadamia cookies
Peanut butter cookies
Coconut thumbprint cookies
Rainbow cookies
Chocolate with chocolate chunk cookies
And lots of other ones that I try for the first time each year...have to get started on choosing what will be new this year!

We have "cookie" day in my family -a bunch of us get togetherand bake, we just use a basic cc dough and a basic sugar dough, each person adds whatever they would like to each batch of cookies. Candy,assorted nuts,pbchips,white chocolate chips,sprinkels,icing.

Every year my mother and I spend an entire weekend baking. We make the following:
Toffee
Fudge
Rainbow Cookies
Pignoli Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookies
Lemon Bars
Raspberry Bars
Thumbprint Cookies
Snickerdoodles
Chocolate peanut butter bars
And every year we also try one new candy or cookie. We haven't decided what's new this year.
