Just need to vent...family related
UGH!! I am so annoyed. By no means do I need to be coddled but lets be serious. I just lost a set of identical twins back in May at 16 weeks (which mind you my m-i-l didn't think it was as serious a pregnancy as we told her it was; they were mono/mono to start with) So this time around we are nervous to begin with then find out we are having twins and have serious placenta clotting and a huge sub chorionic bleed. I am on strict bed rest and somehow NO ONE can seem to find time in their busy lives to help us out. It is one thing to be on bed rest if it was only me but when you have other kid/kids and your husband had to quit his 2nd job which you needed desperately because he has to be home to take care of things since no one wants to help out its a completely different story!
My family is NO better, and my m-i-l doesnt work and never helps us out cause shes too busy taking care of my b-i-l's kid all day every day cause they live there. I am just so frustrated with everyone right now! My m-i-l called last night and I happened to answer the phone and she asks how I'm feeling and I say "I'm alright, just can't walk" to which she replies "oh well"
F U lady!!!
UGH!!! i'm sorry but I am just so ****** right now!

 I'm sorry you have to deal with this. You would think your mil would be more sympathetic and want to help seeing that her son has to quit his second job that you really need him to have.

That really stinks, I am sorry you have to deal with that. Do you have any friends that would be willing to lend a helping hand every week maybe

aw that's really hard. . hard enough to be on bed rest but even harder to not have people support you.

Ugh!!!! Nobody will ever understand until they have been in our shoes. When I was was pregnant with my mono mono twins certain people in my life didn't think it was a serious risk and thought I overreacted about everything. Just keep your head up. I wish there was something I could do to help. (By the way...it's me....hope you ate doing well. Text me with any updates)

I'm sorry, that stinks that you are going through all that without help or understanding. One would expect their family to be right there for you, but unfortunately that is not always the case, as you are seeing. I really feel for you. Hope things get better

HAHA! Hey I hear ya about he mono mono thing. They were such a$$es about it!! My own family included but especially my mother-in-law! You have already helped me sooo much just by pointing me in the right direction! gotta luv ya for that! I saw him yesterday too and he said he saw you earlier in the day! Of course i asked if you had the boys with you and told him how absolutely gorgeous they are

thanks ladies! Fortunately I have gotten a lot of emotional support on this board and made some great friends in the meantime. But yes it does suck and it is very hurtful and frustrating! Yes one would expect their family to be there for them ESPECIALLY when I have been there for ALL of them countless times but unfortunately as we learned with losing the first set of twins that tragedy sometimes brings people closer BUT sometimes it also just shows you peoples true colors!
