Endodontist
I have a friend who needs to take her 10 yr old to an endodontist for a root canal. She is terrified of the dentist so she is looking for someone who is good with children. Any good recommendations? TIA

Dr. Cymmerman in Stonybrook (631-751-1400). He was very patient with me when I was going through a terrible infection and was in his office 7 times in a month. There was a young boy there one day for a follow up and he was not nervous at all which is a good indication of his ability to work with children.

hi- i just went to an awesome endodontist off main street in huntington... dr. shore. i believe he works on children too. i did not feel a thing...nothing! i sufferred for i whole year with tooth sensitivity and was so scared to have a root canal but i went to this guy upon my dentist's recommendation and he was fabulous!

My SIL sent her 8 yo to Dr. DiBernardo in Smithtown. She said he was fabulous with him and the only endodontist in Suffolk who sees kids on a regular basis. His number is 631-265-6161. HTH!
