My DH has been having these horrible migraines and complained about having slurred speech one time a couple of months ago. He went to get a MRI of his brain and it came back that he has "white spots" on his brain. Now he needs further testing to figure out what it is...so worried. Please say a prayer it is nothing!
ETA: Thanks for the prayers. DH is getting a new neurologist b/c his present one is not good - gives him the news about the spots on the brain and said "it can be a result of the migraines, at best. the worst possible situation, brain tumors." Wow - thanks. Then DH asked how many spots/where were they located and he said he was in the middle of meetings and was going on vacation for 3 weeks and to set up an appointment when he gets back....NICE! I told DH to get his MRI results sent to him and we will get a new dr. So that is what we are doing...I hate the waiting/worrying, but I am going to be positive.
9/8- thanks for all the prayers; he went to Sloan yesterday and the dr. said the spots were "most likely nothing" but that he has to get an MRI in 2 months and see if there are any change. She said sometimes that there are no answers to what caused the spots and she would not guess on what caused them. We felt better and will feel even better is his next MRI shows no change.
