OK LIF!!!!!!
We seriously need more vendors on the Businesses Helping Family board!! Everyone here has so many questions regarding their homes, ie. electrical, floor refinishing, home improvement, gardening, etc.....
We need some professionals to help answer alot of our questions!!! Where are all the BUSINESSES!!!????

I agree!!
DH is a former contractor and ran his own business for over 15 years...before he became a project manager. I keep trying to convince him to go back to contracting - I could keep him working all the time through LIF contacts! ha ha

it basically works the same way as LIW...(I would assume)...but the only New Businesses I see being added to the banner on the right, are businesses that are more geared towards, um, wedding planning.. such as limousine, photography, florists............
i understand these types of businesses can help families planning other events in their lives, but IMO, LIF members would benefit more from a larger variety of businesses.
Ron, may i suggest some businesses that maybe you guys can try to reel in, like:
Home Depot/Lowes
Contractors (both big and small)
Furniture Stores
Real Estate Agencies
Financial Institutions (both big and small)
(these are just a few off the top of my head)

Instead of wedding vendors, there should be home improvement vendors!

It just defeats the purpose, we are done with the wedding and need home improvement vendors. Hence the purpose of this site.
