pre-natal question

I just took my first prenatal vitamin. It is an OTC one from target- the brand is "Just Once- Prenatal One multivitamin". First of all, the thing is huge! I cut in half- and I still almost choked on it- and it leaves such a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I've never taken vitamins before- do they all taste nasty? And are they all huge? TIA!

I think most of the OTC ones are like that. Mine are perscription, and aren't that big. They are also coated capsuls, but they try to cover up the nastiness with the scent and slight taste of vanilla...it doesn't quite work. But, they're not all that bad.
