EI help

Last year I was laid off from my job right before the holidays wile I was 8 months pregnant:/ I am currently a stay at home mom but am looking to get back into teaching. I have experience working with children with autism at the preschool level w/ some ABA experience and am duel certified. I am looking to get into EI or SEIT , but need help getting started. Can anyone help?

Re: EI help

You need your DOH letter. You will need to fill out the application - but you need to have 2 yrs experience with kids under the age of 5 with your birth-2 cert.

Even if you get rejected, that's ok - bring the rejection letter to the agency you are applying to. They will host you, and insetad of being an independent contractor you will be working for them - which people prefer anyway since the agency will take out the taxes - one less thing to worry about...

Once you get hired with an agency, for EI, there are other things you need to do - especially if you are going for ABA...
