We're naming our little girl Megan and spelling it as simply as possible -- I'm not sure if you'd be pronouncing Maegan differently or not, but that spelling is very unusual to me.
I love the name Taryn. I grew up with a girl named Taryn and I just think it's beautiful, unique, but not "weird" per se.
We have a friend who just had a baby two months ago who named her Jillian and that's beautiful too.
Really, you can't go wrong -- these are all wonderful choices.
