Homebody or Hermit?

Ok, hubby and I go out twice a week but other than that and the necessary food shopping, etc. I love to stay home! I have had many a weekend when I park the car in my driveway on Friday afternoon and don't start it again until Monday morning. I'm usually home by myself since hubby works in retail. I cook, go on the computer, talk to my friends on the phone, watch movies- all in my sweats. On weekdays, I come home from work, wash the makeup off my face, and immediately get in my comfy clothes! Anyone else with me or am I turning into a recluse?

Re: Homebody or Hermit?

Nope, I am the same. DH and I RARELY go out to dinner, either.

I go to yoga at night during the week, but that's about it. I am contemplating still going to the 3PM class today because I am so comfy and relaxed at home. Chat Icon

You are just like us. We hardly ever go out anymore and to be honest I don't miss it. I love our quiet evenings at home. I love when they last all weekend too!!Chat Icon

Re: Homebody or Hermit?

It depends. During the week, I def like to come home make dinner and get comfy.
On the weekends, I don't mind going out, but gone are the days I want to stay out til 1:00 in the morning,.

Re: Homebody or Hermit?

Another homebody here too! I was just thinking that I barely went anywhere this weekend and I am ok with it. It is kind of nice to relax at home.

Re: Homebody or Hermit?

The work week is so crazy -- I like to get all my errands done during the week for this very reason -- I like to sit tight and veg out all weekend.

Yoga pants and Netflix.

Staying up late and sleeping in.

I figure we should do it as much as possible for we have kidlins around.

Re: Homebody or Hermit?

I think I've become that way more over the past couple of years. Besides going to work, the gym, and the usual errands, I don't go out much, especially now that it's getting cold out. When the weather is nicer, I love to be out.

If we didn't have two kids and a million errands there are many weekends we would love to park the car and not leave until Monday.

Re: Homebody or Hermit?

That is SO me. We worked so hard for so long to buy our house and every moment that I get to sit down here and enjoy it, I do! I just love being home.
On the other hand, I do go through times when I just go, go, go. I'll get sick of being home all the time if hubby's working a lot and I'll just stick the kids in the car every day after work and go out and about.
But nothing, imo, beats being home and comfy.Chat Icon
