CPSE/CSE advice
Does anyone have any advice? We are going for my younger son for speech delay and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the report they sent.
The crazy part, is that I have been on the other end of CSE meetings, but I need to shift into parent mode.

Re: CPSE/CSE advice
If you want I can put you in touch with my sister. She does speech evals for EI and CPSE and can translate the paperwork for you.

Re: CPSE/CSE advice
I have been told recently that many kids in CPSE get speech 3x per week, so I would ask for a minimum of that when you are in the meeting.
I am not familiar with CSE yet, so I can't speak to that.
Good luck with the meeting.

It was a lot less scary than I thought! He's getting Speech 2x a week - I wish I saw your post earlier - I was thinking about asking for 3 while in the meeting! LOL. He is also getting OT 2x a week.
He will be reevaluated in the spring to see if he needs more or less
Our Psychologist told us that our school district's CSE/CPSE committees are very kind, so it was quite painless.
