If I want to use a midwife...
...what do I do? Do I still go to my OB/GYN or do I start going to her for all of my appointments?

If you go to a midwife, they handle all your prenatal care, the delivery, and your post-partum visits. I highly recommend midwives - I loved mine.

I used a midwife and had a FABULOUS experience. Her name is Melanie Sumersille. She works in Garden City. I think the office number is 516-222-1033. She works with 2 MD's in the office who are also really nice. Good luck!
