If your DD is a girl scout
When did they start doing booth sales for cookies? One of my co-leaders suggested one for our Daisy troop but I feel like they are too little. Maybe I'm being silly....

Re: If your DD is a girl scout
My DD is in her 2nd year of Daisies and we sold them last year. We earned a couple hundred dollars for the troop. We didn't do booth sales where you sell to people in a store but just by the girls selling them to family & friends. I'm the cookie Mom for our troop, let me know if you have any questions.

Re: If your DD is a girl scout
My DD is in kindergarten and we just did booth sales for nuts. Most parents stayed. The table was set up for 4 hours and each child signed up for an hour time slot.

Re: If your DD is a girl scout
I just read the other replies and was wondering why everyone is talking specifically about booth sales but I see that I didn't read the word booth in your original post, I just happened to reference the booth sales. I know some troops chose not to do any cookies the first year which is why the question didn't seem odd at all. OK, about booth sales specifically - the Cookie chair for our entire town told me that many people did not feel comfortable doing booths last year either with Daisies. But the 1 hour time frame that someone did above was also suggested to us. So if you have 15-16 girls like we do, have 4 groups of 1 hour time frames. She also said to not do train stations - just too risky and too much commotion even though Im sure sales are very good. GS has a relationship with TD bank so that is a good place to see if you can do it.
