Another teacher gifts post, sorry! Also bus driver....

Dd is in kindergarten, am I suposed to get the teacher a gift? How much do you spend? There was a very small collection at the beginiing of the year by the class mom. Also, how much and what do you give the bus driver?

I would give it in gift card form, I am sure that would be appreciated. I usually do Visa, or Target, or barnes and noble unless I know a specific store they love.

and a $10-$20 gift card for the bus driver.

I did $20 gift cards to bath and body works for every teacher and the bus driver; I also baked an assortment of cookies for each teacher and wrapped them in a pretty holiday tin; with some holiday candy; and bought each teacher some big fancy lollipop to go in the gift bag...

This year I had 8 people to buy for; between teachers, assistants, aides, morning care teachers...etc...

I feel that they all love and take care of my kids equally; so therefore they each got the same gift....

Had I not had as many people to buy for; I probably would have spent a little more...

Main teachers and aides I usually get $50. This year I got her teacher a Troll bead she wanted.
I get for my DD's 1stgrade teacher, her honors teacher, dance teacher (monogramed bags with yarn (she knits) and a nutracker ornament (they did the nutcracker for their perfromance) and then for DD#2 she has 2 teachers I got monogramed lunch bags with lenox ornaments.
