so the beautiful crib
that we got from friends has dropped sides
DH put it together last night and when I saw it I was sad
i know we can't use it..and it is sooo cute

Can you go to the website for the company that makes it and see if they have converters to make it safe? They might even send you them for free.

Go to the manufacturers website and they more than likely have the kit to make it a fixed side crib. Don't give up yet.
