Spinoff to Krazy Kids closing

So thanks to LIF, I have just found out that this place has closed. They took a $50 deposit from us and though its not a ton of money I would like it back. I left a message on their phone and sent them an email asking for the deposit back. Is there anything we can do? I am not sure but I believe we used our debit card to pay so calling the credit card company is out of the question.

Second part, I need to find a place for my son's and newphew 2nd birthday. Any suggestions. I know DH won't go for Chucky Cheese.

Call your bank (the bank card you used) and let them know what happened. I think I was able to do this with a debit charge; it's worth a try!

I would definatwely call the bank. They may be able to help you fight them back for the deposit.

Some types of business have to post bond with the county just to be opened. I do not think that a kids play place is such a business but it may be worth contacting the Department of Consumer Affairs or looking at their website for information.

On a personal note, I am so sorry to hear that Krazy Kids has closed. We had a wonderful birthday party there in 2009. I loved meeting my mom friends there from time to time and I enjoyed their LIF GTG. I wish nothing but the best for the owners and I enjoyed working with them but you should have some protection.

Little Sunshine Playcenter in Sayville(the owner Denise is lovely), Little Gym in Sayville, Bounce N Play in Moriches(cool fake ice cream parlor/store/bounce room). So sorry about what happened at Krazy Kids. The owner always rubbed me the wrong way
