Taken from Parenting: How many gifts are from You Vs Santa?
We usually do 2 or 3 from Santa then the rest (if there's more) is from us. All the movies and books show that Santa brings one special gift for a good child so we wanted to stay some what true to the books and movies that he sees.

None from us. They are all from Santa and Grandma (she sends money and we shop for her).

thats us too. If there's something special that they "asked santa" for, he gets credit for those. But I like to give them something special from us too.
So while Santa is bringing the dress up dolls (E1) and chuggington trains (E2), mom & dad are giving the princess castle and follow me thomas...and some other lesser stuff from us & santa.

1 from us and the rest from Santa. We open all the stuff from Santa and set it up ready to be played with so that we can sit and just watch them play and not deal with wrestling with getting the box open and then undoing 5000 twist ties while they are dancing around impatiently waiting for us to get the gift out of the packaging.

We usually do 2-3 from us. Depends on how many gifts. If it's a small christmas then maybe 1 from us.

They will get PJ's and a book from us on Christmas Eve... everything else is from Santa. Robbie knows that we actually buy the gifts - but he plays along with the Santa thing for Noah's sake.

Usually 1 big thing from Santa for each of them....plus one shared gift from Santa with a note reminding them to be kind to one another.
This year dd gets her 1st bike
ds gets 2 nerf guns
and the shared gift is an easel...2 sided of course

1gift is from Santa at our house for each child. the rest are from us and family. Santa can only fit one gift per child in his sleigh

Santa brings all the gifts they ask for - i.e., the toys and special gifts.
We (mom and dad) give them gifts like clothes and books.

1 big gift for each out of the box and set up from Santa (this year a construction crane for Cole and a workbench for Brady) and the stockings are from Santa. Everything else is from us or family. Giving credit where credit is due.
