how much nursery furniture?
The twins will be sharing a room... probably until they move out! The room is a great size, but I am not sure about how much furniture we should get. Besides two cribs and a changing table, what else do you think we'll need?
With DS#1 we got him a tall dresser, low dresser that doubled as a changing table (with a hutch), and convertible crib. I think this time around, we are getting standard cribs and a free-standing changing table. I just not sure about dressers.

Re: how much nursery furniture?
We have a lot of furniture in their room - 2 cribs, a dresser/changing table, 2 tall dressers, and 2 gliders. We also have a partial walk-in-closet... and everything is FULL! But I have boy/girl twins so I have 2 totally seperate wardrobes. Since you are having two boys they can share a lot and you can save space that way.

Re: how much nursery furniture?
We are having and are reusing DS's nursery furniture, but ordered a second crib. They have a tall dresser and a short/long dresser with changing table top.
They will share a closet. For now when I can decide what they wear and when all the clothes will be mixed.
But when they get older and want to be independent 1 will get the tall dresser, 1 will get the short/long dresser and they will still share a closet. It has 2 racks and 2 shelves so they will each get 1.

Re: how much nursery furniture?
i have 2 cribs, on long dresser with changing table on top, and one tall dresser, plus 2 night stands oh and also the glider with foot rest
i would imagine you will need at least one dresser if it fits, i would do a dresser/changing table, remember you will have double the clothes

Re: how much nursery furniture?
My twins are in the smallest room in the house right now.....but because they are b/g I know they won't stay that way for more than a few years.
We have 2 cribs and a changing table. They have a big closet with storage that goes back and shelves on the side, so I have a lot in there. I would love if I could fit a dresser but it would be too tight.

Re: how much nursery furniture?
Thanks so much. I am thinking that we will get two dressers -- one for each, and a separate changing table. I felt like DS#1's changing table/dresser combo got worn prematurely because it was a changing table. I am also thinking of going to Gothic Cabinet and getting "non-nursery" furniture so that the drawers are larger and will last the long haul.
Thanks, again!

Re: how much nursery furniture?
All I have is two cribs, a changing table and a long dresser with spaces for baskets cut out. It has 3 large drawers and 3 smaller ones and a cabinet. And they share a closet of medium to small space and its plenty of room for them and they have a ton of clothes!
Once their clothes get bigger obviously, then I dont know. they are only 15 months now.

Re: how much nursery furniture?
Our girls are in a small room with no closet. . . But I couldn't bear to take my 3 year old out of her room. I figured her life was going to change enough. We have two jenny lind cribs (they are standard size but are smaller than most of the cribs out there). We have a chest of drawers and use the top of it as a changing table. We got 3 bookcases and put doors on them, and use them for storage. We also have an upholstered rocker.

Re: how much nursery furniture?
We have two cribs, a changing table/dresser, and an armoire. My twins are going to eventually have seperate rooms, so I wanted to make sure there were enough pieces for them split up. We have tons of storage space with the dresser, armoire and closet.
