NEED HELP--NO RESPONSE from other boards!!
Hello Ladies...
I recently have had all pregnant-like symptoms (dizziness, nausea, change in taste buds, TOTAL FATIGUE, and of course missed period), but the pregnancy test showed up negative (urine and blood). My doctor said because I was on the depoprovera shot I could have negative results and still be pregnant for a while.
Have any of you had negative results and still be pregnant? Have any of you gotten pregnant after the depo shot? If so, how did you find out you actually were pregnant??

I am not sure what the depoprovera shot is - but you are probably better posting this on the TTC board or even the Infertility board.
Hope you find the answers you are looking for.

I have posted this on the other boards but haven't really gotten a response...thought I would try here too. I have researched this online and found too many different opinions...I wanted to see if there was anyone who has actually gone through this to talk to.

I have posted this on the other boards but haven't really gotten a response...thought I would try here too. I have researched this online and found too many different opinions...I wanted to see if there was anyone who has actually gone through this to talk to.
I noticed you only posted this within an hour ago - I would give it some more time, cause about now is when everyone is leaving to go home from work and stuff, check back later in the day and you might have more responses then. Good Luck

I have never been on depo, but I know that it is not uncommon to miss periods for a while after coming off of depo. Maybe your body is just readjusting?

My understanding is that you will eventually miss periods all together. That's one of the side effects. I would do some reseach (web md) and talk to my doctor.

Depo messes with your cycle and will cause your hormones to go crazy, hence the pseudo preggo symptoms. I would have my ob/gyn take a blood pg test just be sure. GL!

How long has it been since the doctor did a blood test? I know it's a pain but I would repeat it in a few weeks to a month and see if the levels have changed at all. I work for an OB/GYN and would be happy to pass on any questions you might have tonight at work. FM if you'd like.

Dont know if this helps but I was on provera (the pill) to bring on my period and the doc tested me for pregnancy 2X and both times came out negative but in reality I was preggo and I finally realized it at 6wks during a sonogram with another doc.
