Still waiting for answers...
I called my doctors office this afternoon to check the status of the chromosome testing we opted to have done.
They said they are still growing the chromosomes and hopefully it won't be long after the new year to get results.
I didn't realize they had to grow cells.
I wasn't anxious about this but now it's all I can think about. I just want to know and at the same time I don't want to know.
Everything about this is so hard

Re: Still waiting for answers...
I asked all the scientific questions about the fetus/embryo in terms of pathology. Yes, it grows more chromosomes so they can detect whats wrong with it and I also got the gender. How many weeks were you again? I was 9.5 but the baby stopped growing at 7.5. I think we were very close to MC dates and since I got mine you should get yours shortly.

Re: Still waiting for answers...
Thank you Autumn
Princess, I was 9 weeks but the sono showed less than that. They said they couldn't tell for sure when the baby stopped growing but it was measuring more like 7.5 weeks instead of 9. I'd say we were very close in terms of the timing of all of this.
I know the tissue they were going to test was sent to one lab and that lab sent it out somewhere else for the pathology which delayed things by about 1 week. I am expecting answers in the next week or so.

Just FYI...for sure my pathology went out Dec 1st, i saw it on my paperwork and we got it back on the 24th. 3-4 weeks seems like the usual.

Thanks.
I am still waiting.
I am afraid to call the doctors office. I called them last week and they said around the first of the year we should get some answers. Part of me wants to call back but I am so nervous. It's like I am waiting for the call and at the same time I'm afraid of the call.
