because everywhere you go you encounter people you do not like - whether it be family, coworkers, etc ... you just deal with it or ignore them.
That's what I do at least. Cyberspace annoying people are definitely not worth my time.

Sometimes it creates more drama than what it is worth. Remeber what happened on LIW? It got extremely ugly & many people got banned & left.

Maybe to avoid a bigger issue. I would NEVER shout anyone out. I don't think it's that serious. If someone annoys ME....it's MY problem to get over it.

B/c you have to learn to deal with people you don't like. They exist everywhere, and it's not always worth a confrontation. Also, I don't presume to really know most people based on their internet postings, so while I may dislike some things they do or say, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion of completely dislikeing them as a person.
ETA: I guess it comes down to the fact that the things that annoy me on here are so small in the scheme of my life that it just isn't worth wasting the energy on them.

I don't mean freak out on them.
We posted a lot of things we don't like about posters. Why not NICELY FM that person and let them know what they are doing. Perhaps the psoter doesn't even know.
It seems that many posters resort to making digs in random threads instead.
I am women enough to admit that I have done this. I am not saying I am proud of that or that its right, but I am admiting I have done it.

Good point. I feel like it's so easy to misconstrue things when you're reading as opposed to hearing them in person.

I think most posters that people don't like know EXACTLY what they're doing... and don't care.

That's true too ... also, I think we only "see" a small portion of someone's personality and life on here so it's easy to make judgements and wrong judgements at that.
All of our lives are much more complex than what we write daily so to start drama or expose a person because you don't like them doesn't really make much sense. You don't really KNOW them to judge them fully.
Again, there are plenty of posters I would rather not deal with but instead of trying to like EVERYONE I decided to get to know the ones I like better

couldn't agree more!
and i think it is worth the effort!
I am friendly with a bunch of people who i have not seen eye to eye with and either i was sent and FM or have sent FM saying..."hey? what the issue here?"
And it works out just fine!
