snow skiing? what age
DS is 4.5, not sure if he is ready to ski yet but when should we try?

Definitely try! Ski school is great. They actually do change and get better around age 5 but there's just no harm in introducing a kid before that time!

defineltly try - you will see kids older and younger starting
i stole my brother's skis a 4 and would not give them back
i might start my son this year and he will be18 months
definely start with ski school - and littler mountains are usally better - it is less crowded and easier to go in an out - i learned to ski at suicide six which is owned by the woodstock inn - in VT
Bromley has a good kids program and of courrse smuggler's is known for there's if you want to go to a bigger mountain

We took my DS when he was 3 - they have a day care/ski school for the little ones so mom and dad can ski all day. We saw him during his lessons (he got two during the day) and it was so cute. He had a great time.

We haven't tried skiing yet but I know a lot of people that have been skiing since 3-4 yo.

We were recommended to wait until age 3 to start because their knees are supposedly strong enough then, so we are starting this winter. Good luck!

My older guy is a champ on skiis. He's been skiing since he was 4. My other guy started last year. Hopefully this season, he'll start to do it independently rather than between Paul's legs.
