Interesting segment last night, re: quilts at Pa. Farm Show!!!
Evidently, people send in quilt squares, and then, people who attend the farm show, make a quilt using those squares!!! I think they have a different theme each yr. Then they auction off the quilt!!! I even saw children, getting supervision, and helping with this yr.'s quilt!!!!!  Mary

OOO like a quilting bee! Reminds me of Anne of Green Gables.
I tried quilting once, but my pieces never came out the same size

I tried quilting once, but my pieces never came out the same size
I use to watch my Mom and Grandmother quilt, but don't remember much!!! I watched the sheep to shawl contest, tonight, on TV, that took place earlier. Beautiful shawls!!! Even teens made them, in their age category!!! The winning shawl was based on a bluebird, with shades of blue and rust. The one that I loved was based on apple blossoms, and had shades of pink and green. Mary
