Anyone's DC ever have a broken blood vessel in the eye?

I noticed last night that DD (10 months) has a small red spot in the white of her eye along the bottom lid toward the inner corner.

I've heard of babies having this immediately after birth- but I've never seen it on older infant.

I'm bringing her to the doc at 11 just to be on the safe side.

Anyone else ever experienced this?

Yes...that happened to my DS when he was 7 months old. I took him to a pediatric opthomologist and he assured me that it was fine. They don't always know what causes it..but they aren't anything to worry about. He told me to come back if it didn't go away within 2 weeks...but by the next day it was noticeably better..and the day after that it was gone. HTH
