Amvets Tax Deductible Clothing Pickup- Tax ?
I have left a few bags of clothing throughout 2010 out for pickup. With each, we received a receipt with the date. DH was entering some info into the Turbo Tax last night and when it came to charities it asked for the value. On the Amvets receipt it states that determining the value is up to the donor. How much would you say a bag of clothing with 5 or so pants and 5 or so shirts would be valued at? All clothes were in good condition.
