DOE Teachers- Bloomberg will make closing decision at 5 am tomorrow
Honestly, it would be great if they could commit a little sooner.

Yup. It will be the same old "stay off the roads (unless you're going to school) and take mass transit (unless LIRR is suspended and your school isn't actually near mass transit)."

I keep checking the NWS forecast maps- they are forecasting 10 incehs for the city. So I am going to cling to a shred of hope. And put a spoon under my pillow tonight. 
My principal was good enough to cover me so I could leave at 1:30 today, so I'll feel really badly if I don't make it tomorrow.

Dont get your hopes up...snow will stop by 2am and there are regents exams tomorrow- so even more of an incentive to stay open

YUP! First of all we will never have a delay. It's either open or closed. I firmly believe if that storm on Dec 26th had happened during a school day we would have had school.
