In the words of Sophia Petrillo!!!! Picture it......
Except it wasn't Sicily, it was Pa.!!! Got up EARLY/6:30 AM, to get diabetic lab work done. Had to wait, of course. The girl couldn't find a vein, and why is she tying it so tight?!!! I thought my arm would fall off!!! Then, I enjoyed breakfast out, came home, and started getting UTI symptoms AGAIN!!!! Since 2007, one right after another!!! Just finished a six month maintenance antibiotic about a month ago. Had tests, nothing amiss. So, I started thinking. What else happened in 2007? I started using Estrace!! I started to think about it, and for the last month or so, I changed how I applied it!! I stopped putting it on the outside!! I think my UTI's were from a sensitivity to this stuff. (sorry, if this is too graphic, but I want other women to be aware) So, I noticed a change, wasn't getting symptoms. But two days ago, I was not careful, and HERE I GO AGAIN!!!!  In view of the BIG STORM/ICE, predicted for tonight, I decided to take an appt. with a different Dr., because if I wanted mine, I couldn't get in until 8:45 PM!!! By then, the pharmacy would be closed!!! Ok, in prep, I drank three bottles of water!!!!! I HAD to stop at a Sheetz, to go!!!! Got to the Dr. office, and went four times!!! Yes, it's an infection!!!! Well, I coulda told you that, Doc!!! On to Wal-Mart for my antibiotic. Not ready, allow another 20 minutes!!! Did I mention another bathroom visit? Don't these people know I'm ready to scream from the pressure? Finally, went back, after pushing a cart around, and the medicine still had to be bagged. I told the pharmacist gal, "Some days I hate being a woman!!!!" She said, "Me too!!!!"  Thanks for letting me vent!!! Mary

I have to get my blood taken every 2-3 days so I know the struggle with the vampire phlebolomists and their tight rubber bands and sharp instruments.
Oh, thanks, I'm breathing better now!!! Ya know when she found a vein? When I began to pray aloud, "LORD, please help this gal find a vein!!" And right then she did!!!! I'm glad GOD loves us on our bad days too!!! But, man what a day!!! And the kicker was, I had to get to my UTI appt., while feeling yukky, and there was traffic everywhere!!!  FOR GOODNESS SAKES, HURRY UP PEOPLE!!!!  Ok, sorry, had a bit leftover inside!!! I think I'm good now!!!!  Mary
