my two year old will not go to sleep without me. Its a comfort thing that she has done. She likes to pinch the skin on my elbow. Actually anyones esp when she is tired or going to bed. I converted her bed already to a toddler bed and usually she goes to sleep right away if I sit with her. Today my husband was home and watching tv and she forgot her doll and we went back out to the living room to get it and she saw him and did not want to stay in her bed. now she is still up and won't sleep. This doesnt happen very often but when it does it is annoying. she also gets up at 230/3 and comes to our bed. I also have a 4 month old who I cannot have her wake up. I am at a loss as to what to do. I wish she would just go to bed on her own. How do I teach her to self soothe?? Advice please!!
