CPSE Evals-Which Agency Has Great SEITs ?

The time has come that I need to select an agency once again for CPSE. My current agency does not do CPSE, so I need to find one that could do the evals and then later hopefully fill a SEIT position.

I was told to get an eval done through a developmental preschool, however, I am leaning towards the JCC part time program with a SEIT (although, I know this may not be easy to get). I prefer my dd's services to mostly be at home and the preschool setting be used for socialization and getting used to the structure of 'school'

So, once again, I am looking for opinions or recommendations on agencies to go with or "not" go with LOL (you could fm me). I live in the long beach area so finding therapists that service this area isn't always easy.

We used the same EI agency because all 3 SEITs for home services were from his EI team.

Is your SEIT for ABA home services?

I am looking for a SEIT who will go with my dd to her preschool in september 2x a week part time and then hopefully get home services as well.

The agency I am using now doesn't do CPSE only EI. Would you recommend the agency you used for EI ?

I am using Marion k Salomon. I don't care for the agency but they do have great therapists.

What area is the daycare? you can FM me if you prefer.

I can ask my therapists for referals if you want me too. A lot of therapists work with multiple agencies.

we use marion K salamon and little village.

they are both great with CPSE therapists.

i know MKS has a lot of CPSE therapists and little village has some.

i know a good CPSE SEIT.. i can find out if she does LB area, and if she does i can put you in contact with her

DS's SEIT is through Kidz Therapy. I think she is wonderful.

We just used O'Connel and Selig in Huntington for our CPSE evaluation. They were thorough and wonderful to work with. DS runs and hugs them. The psychologist sat with me for an hour to go over his results. She also gave us advice on a Sat morning when something had happened to DS on Friday evening.

All CPSE diagnosis are preschooler with a disability, but our psych eval thinks DS has ADHD. We have Speech, OT and SEIT from O'Connel and Selig and they have been great.

I think this came from the school district: all services have to be in one place (we were in the middle of transitioning to another day care), so we had to wait until he started the new day care.
