So cool! My fish had babies!!!
I looked in my tank this morning to see a whole ton of little tiny fish swimming around "the parents" are forming like a box around them. I am trying to move the other fish out of the tank.
How cool is this?!!?!?

I had fish that used to have babies all the time. My room ended up looking like a fish store because I kept having to add more & more tanks to accomidate all the babies that would survive.

Cichlid babies and mating is so cool. SO much better than any other fish. Sadly my Angels eggs never hatched, but I had a Green Severum and those eggs hatched.
Those are Angel babies, yes?

So cute... I love little baby fish!
They actually make a type of square shaped net that you can attach to the inside of the tank and put all the baby fish inside. This way the other fish can't get to them.
When I was a little girl, we got a fish tank and I saw one of the fish have a baby as soon as we got it home. I was all amazed, caught it in a dixie cup and my dad told me to put it back. Put it back in the tank and it was immediately eaten by another fish!   
WHen I was older and had a tank with fish that had babies, I got the net to use for the fish to grow bigger in before putting them back in with the rest of the fish. This way you don't have to get another tank set up. Let me see if I can find a picture of one.

You can get it at PetSmart or any other pet store, I'm sure.

What kind of fish are they?
I had to do a science project involving guppies in 7th grade, and they had babies and then THEY ATE THEM! I was traumatized
