Did any DH's not want to try after a miscarriage

I don't want to try right away. This baby was a surprise - we were planning on trying a few months from now.

I'm scared this is going to make DH change his mind about going for a third. He keeps saying how lucky we are for having two healthy boys, and he doesn't want to press our luck.

If anything, this truly confirmed for me that I want one more child.

I know it's so raw for both of us and time will heal things - but I was wondering if any Dh's had a change of heart after a loss?

I was in a different situation as my miscarriage was my first pregnancy. I know DH was scared to have another miscarriage but I needed to try again for my own healing process and he understood. Being pregnant again is what I truly needed to heal from the devastating experience of a miscarriage as well as talking about it a lot and I'm not a very open person but it helped in my healing process. We had a successful pregnancy and in Aug of 09 had a beautiful and healthy baby boy.

You have had two successful pregnancies and I am sure your doctors will tell you that that alone, speaks volumes as to your ability to have a heathly pregnancy.

I was the one who was scared to try again after the m/c. It was DH who kept pushing me. He said knowing we would try again was the only way he could stay positive after the m/c.

If it wasn't for DH pushing, I do not believe we would have a 2nd child right now(even though I desperately wanted one).
I cried at the mention of TTC. With each of my 4/mc's I was worse. I was almost traumatized, I think.
I am SOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that he pushed

I had a change of heart, not DH. After 4 losses, I decided that adoption was the route for us. DH on the other hand is in a place where he doesn't know if he ever wants kids but I think he is just scared of the responsibility.
