BFP?
Hi! I'm posting under a fake name because I haven't told DH yet, and I need some advise from all you TTC experts.
I took an E.P.T this morning, pretty much on a fluke, and the line was there but faint at about 2 minutes. It got darker from then on, but still faint. I expected AF on Sunday.
Could it be a false positive?? I'm pretty sure I know the answer to that, but this is so surreal I need confirmation!

There is no such thing as a false positive...
if it showed up with in 2 minutes id say its a definitely positive... Congrats!!! youre pregnant!!!!!!!
I'd buy some First Response Early Results tests and take a few more!!!

Since AF is late, I would get a digital.
I've also heard that there is no such thing as a false positive, only a false negative!!

Sure sounds like a BFP to me!! I'd say def get a digital!!!!! Nothing like seeing that word "pregnant" before your eyes to make it all real!!! Keep us posted!! Oh yea, and then tell us who you are!!

Sorry to disappoint ladies, I'm not in the Feb 2ww - I lurk on this board, but haven't posted. I mostly post on parenting.
Thanks for the advice, I bought some more tests and am going to test again. AF was due this coming Sunday, so I think I'm still too early for a digital, right?

I just took a First Response Early Result and there is definitely a line! Its lighter than the control line, but its there!!
I'm so excited, how am I going to hold this in until I see DH tonight!

For me, my AF was due on a Monday. I took a HPT on Friday morning and had a faint positive.
Sat Morning I took an FRER HPT and a Digital. The FRER was still just as faint as the day before and the digital said positive.
On Sunday - same results as sat.
I stopped testing at that point. the HPT's never got any darker.... all 3 days they were all faint positives. I'm now almost 21 weeks along.
My calendar is one day extra so I think a digital would work for you... just make sure it's a more sensitive digital test. Some look for more or less HCG in your urine... you want one that looks for lower levels. I'd research which tests to buy first... that's exactly what I did and it worked just fine. Just check a few sources because sometimes different sites have slightly different information.
