I think my kitty does..  when I tell him NO, he meaows back at me in the same stern tone..  but yes, I'm glad he does't verbalize himself to me.. he'd have some funky stuff to tell me..

lol... I've got one that does talk back!! Other than his expressions, when you ask him something he stands and starts mumbling and grumbling back at you!

I have to say our pit does that, too. Sometimes she really sounds like she's trying to speak.
