this chick really needs to go

One of her bosses is on vacation. the other not.

She has come in late every day this week, some days more than an hour and left early every day.

Then talks on the phone for hours to her boyfriend who is divorcing and giving him advice.

She is ridiculously behind on his work and keeps saying, he's going to be mad at me I have to get this done for him and goes on coming in late and talking on the phone.

A new person was supposed to start (internal) working for this manager but now a snag in hiring her replacement is pushing that off.

This chick has been trying to get the new person to do all of her work even before she starts. She can't do it, she's working for another group, trying now to hire a replacement for herself and she goes on vacation next week.

I think the sh!t is going to hit the fan. I won't throw her under the bus because I am not her boss but I come in on time every day and stay late. I took care of her manager's staff meeting yesterday because she had to leave at 3:15 to go to dinner with her boyfriend's family in NJ.

Now we all back each other up but this is just nonsense. She has no idea what it means to be committed to her job.

It's really pissing me off.

Not sure why her other manager is not noticing this or caring. Maybe because he knows he's getting someone new and committed to him. But now the timelines have been extended.

Oy Boy. Maybe I should get some and watch the show next week when her other boss comes back.

I know she has done literally nothing for him. She whines that she is soooooo busy and she is full of it.

It has to bite her right?

IMO, from this and what you've mentioned about her in the past, it sounds like she is actually trying to get herself fired so she can milk the system for UE.

I know people like this and it's really all they are good at in a "work" situation. Imagine if they actually focused all that energy to the actual job?

she is not in reality. I don't know what's going to happen but she has been constantly on the phone the whole day. Then she goes for a smoke break and is gone for 20 mins because she talks to her boyfriend then too.

Like I don't know what's going on.

She is here almost a year. When are they going to can her?

I would not throw her under the bus (with your history with her it did not turn out in your favor) but I would make sure my name shows up via notes/emails, etc... to her manager. Like "for your records (on copies of memos, meeting minutes, etc....) and sign your name", etc. on everything you did for her.

Let her dig her own grave.....

she's gone on 5 smoke breaks today..just left for another as soon as I came back from running an in office errand.

She knows I'm pizzed because I clam up.

She wouldn't like what I have to say.
