Surprise 40th Birthday Party Locations
I am in the process of planning a surprise 40th birthday party for my sister and I need some help with locations..
Figure about 50ish people.. we need room for a DJ.. and somewhere where people can dance a little.. Open Bar, Buffet, we are easy going..
Figure Rockville Centre-ish, Lynbrook (NO MCQUADES), 5 Towns, Franklin Sqaure-ish.. that area...
Can you give me suggestions.. I want to call tomorrow (Thursday) So that when I present these ideas to my mom, she cant shoot them down.. (she wants to be in control and her way is always a nightmare)

How about Koenigs in Floral Park? We are having my Dad's surprise 60th there this year. They have a private room upstairs with a dance floor and a fantastic menu. The food there is outstanding!

Vetro in Howard Beach (I know its not where you're looking) has several rooms very new and chic.

I recently went to a nice party at a Knights of Columbus in Lynbrook that was catered by Vincent's.

how about caseys in rc? they just redid it about a yr ago and it more of a catering place now.

The Plattdeusche in Franklin Square has a really nice room and great food!
