s/o from relationships - wedding dress for cf?
If you are CF and plan to stay child free, but you are still married, do you plan on selling your dress?
Mine is in the box..I had planned to use it if we had children but that didn't happen.
Part of me says just sell it, but I love it, I know I'll never wear it again, but I loved wearing it.
What are other people doing?

Funny you should bring this up. My DH was in the attic and moving things around and asked if he could move my wedding dress to the other side. I laughed and said I didnt even remember it was up there. I think am going to have him take it down and I will donate it.
Neither my sister or I wore my moms gown (it was a mess nevermind a size 2) and I dont think my neice will want to wear mine.
I think back to all the money i spend to "preserve" it!

I donated mine to the Bridal Garden like a year after the wedding. They sell the gowns and the proceeds go to Sheltering Arms Childrens' Services who works with different programs in NYC communities.

Mine is hanging on my closet door as it has been for the past 3 and a half years.
Still haven't cleaned it.
I'm not sure what I want to do with it, but I'm not ready to get rid of it yet.

Mine was cleaned & boxed because my mother wanted to do it.
She has it in her attic.
If she gives it to me, I'm not sure what I would do.
I can't imagine anyone else wanting to look at it or use it for anything.

Same exactly for me!
I don't know if I'll have kids but doesn't matter as far as my dress is concerned... I'm sure my kid wouldn't want to wear it anyway.
I really need to figure out what to do with it. I'd be a little sad to get rid of it.

i had mine perserved.... i could never part with it... my mom still has her's boxed under her bed... she never even offered it for me..
p.s. - it's a good luck charm in my family to keep your wedding dress under your bed... everyone does it !

I don't harbor any illusions that my kid is ever going to want to wear my wedding dress. I do however want to use the lace to make a christening gown when I have kids though. But now MIL tells me they have a one that's been in the family for generations. Except it's hideous. Here's hoping SIL has kids before I do which is extremely likely!  
ETA: Actually, my dress still hasn't been cleaned either and I was in the ocean with my dress!

Its still sitting in my closet, dirty and unpreserved. I plan to get it preserved and then wait a few years to possibly sell it (if $$ gets tight or whatever)...

I had mine preserved.....I LOOOOOOVE my dress and have it on display in my closet in one of those big barbie type boxes with a clear window.

LOL.. My mom was the same way.. freaked when I said I was thinking about it!
Mine is still in my closet... and I had no clue what to do with it until I spoke to a friend of mine...
She suggested that there are places to have it made into a quilt... so I am now investigating that!
