What the Frick?!

It's been over a month, so why did I just start crying? GAHHHH I'm sick of feeling like this!

Re: What the Frick?!

It's been over 3 months for me and I still cry sometimes. For about 2 months it was everyday. Then it slowed down.

Last night I cried like a baby.

Usually I cry because someone who has no idea what happened asks if I'm pregnant yet which I think is so obnoxious! Even my husband gets the questions! I don't know why people get so nosey after you've been married for a few years. Or I'll find out someone else is pregnant or gave birth. There have been a ton of that going on and it kills me every time.

Re: What the Frick?!

this lasts for a long time.

i did this for the entire year in which i had the mc. and when i found out i was pregnant again, the feeling that washed over me was so different from the first time around.

it's still very sad and scary that it happened in the first place.

it's totally normal to just get really emotional out of nowhere.

Re: What the Frick?!

I was coming on here to say almost the same thing. For me, it has been a little over 2 months. I broke down when I was in the shower yesterday. Then when I told DH, I cried even harder.

I know it's supposed to get easier, but right now it just hurts. I can't help but think of where I should be in my pregnancy and what should be happening to me. Chat Icon

oh honey, don't be so hard on yourself. It's been 9 months since my miscarriage and last night for no reason at all I cried like a baby. Sobbing hysterically for a good hour.

I haven't done that in awhile. But you know what? It felt pretty good to just let it out.

Miscarriage pain never goes away, just eases a little with time. My grandmother told me she has 2 miscarriages in between my dad and my aunt (they're 5 years apart). She said she can remember it like it was yesterday. She told me the only thing that helps is when you get to hold your own baby in your arms.
