I asked enough questions about Rocky - now to post pictures of him
Here's Rocky!
8 weeks old. They told us he was a lab/collie mix but from my research I think he is a husky/english springer spaniel mix.
And one of DS giving the new baby a little kiss.

Awww...too cute! Looks like some Border Collie in that beautiful face! (my parents have had 2...their color varies...they had a b&w one...now have a tan & white one)

Thanks everyone! He is still improving and will be coming off the IV today and beginning oral antibiotics. They think he should be able to come home Sunday or Monday. 
And thank you KittyKat!!! Maybe thats what they meant by collie, border collie... not "Lassie" collie! I love Border Collies!! They are so smart!

Diane,
Your vet should have a relatively inexpensive option for breed test. I'm seeing border collie, but who cares...you rescued your furry baby and that's a great thing.

I am thinking husky/border collie. I don't really see springer but who knows? Doesn't matter because he's so darn cute!!!
