Re: Monmouth NJ Moms
I've heard good things about swim lessons at the YMCA in Red Bank as well as lessons at the Atlantic Club (also in Red Bank).

Re: Monmouth NJ Moms
I've heard good things from several other local mommies about the YMCA in Freehold. I briefly looked into it, it's a little pricey, particularly because you have to pay all the membership fees associated with the Y in order to take the classes.
I remember seeing classes last year at the outdoor pool at Dorbrook (in Colts Neck) and am dying to know if they would be any cheaper.
My son is 18 months now and I'm pretty anxious to get him in the pool! Please keep us posted on if you find out anything good.

Re: Monmouth NJ Moms
I haven't heard that great of reviews for NYSC or YMCA. They really do not get that much time in the pool.
Marlboro swim club is actually $60 a session and I think the session is 2 (not positive and I may have misunderstood). The only thing is, you need to pay the membership which is $450 for the season. I believe the sessions are everyday though.
Then there is Silton which is suppose to be amazing and was all set to sign the kids up since they are now both potty trained. But it is in Manasquan and $360 per child for a 2 week session. By the end though, they are supposed to know how to swim. It is very intense and the kids swim I believe 3 hours a day 5 days a week.
I was actually thinking about calling up a private instructor to come to the house to teach them. If I go this route, I will let you know if you want to do it too.

I didn't see good reviews for NYSC. Too bad. No point in paying for the swim club since we have a pool, but let me know if u look into private lessons.
