Thank You!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for helping me clarify my thoughts last week about having DS assessed through the schools. I felt like I was drowning, literally, and couldn't fathom completing the paperwork.

But so far (early days I know), it really hasn't been so bad. He's registered in the school district, and now I have the evaluation packet from the school district. Really not so bad.

We still have our appt. with the developmental pediatrician, but I don't see why we shouldn't pursue both tracks and see what answers we get.

Thanks again! It's overwhelming to fully realize your child may need help, but I do feel better now that we are doing something, and not just waiting around for an appt. or for things to improve.
