This shouldn't be a reason for my hoping for a VBAC, but now I really want one

I'm so mad! I ust got my new Ins cards. The copay just went from $200 per entire hospital stay to $500 PER DAY!!! I think they only charge that for the first 3 days, but wow! Perfect timing!!!

If I do need a C-section it will be $1,500 from $200!

Now I'm definitely not doing Newborn pictures... among any other splurges I had hoped for - oh well.

I agree that insurance really sucks sometimes!!! You should not have to make a decision on your health based on finances, but that is what it comes down to.

I was faced with a similar situation a few years ago and it honestly just sucks!
